I do not understand
I wish someone would explain
In simple terms,
Why the earth
Feels like it is slowly
Spinning out of control
Unlike my mind
Which has stopped
So it seems…

I do not understand
This lack of energy
The disinterest
Why my jeans
Feel tighter
Why my eyes
Look so tired…




I do not understand
Sink full of dishes
Unmade beds
Unanswered calls
Unopened mail
Unpaid bills
Unpacked bags
Unanswered prayers…

I do not understand
What happened
To my gentle spirit
So full of love
So far reaching
Were my dreams
There was nothing
I could not do
With you by my side
What happened
Please help me understand.. Please ?
